I just recently upgraded my OS to Leopard and now am trying to install VPC 7.0 again. I have the VPC on a backup CD that has some other programs on it as well. In step 2 on the setup I get a message saying that I need to insert the install CD. On the old OS I had no problems installing VPC from the same CD that I am using now. Any idea, sure would help. Thanks.

I have this issue regardless of what version of OSX I am running when I
install VPC. My version of VPC 7.0 is a disk image file. When I install I
double click the disk image file on my desktop and it mounts the disk image.
At some point I need to reboot. After rebooting OSX I must remount the disk
image file before continuing the VPC 7.0 installation otherwise I get this
message about inserting the Installation CD. It's annoying but it works.
It's been about 6 months since I installed VPC on 10.5 but I do have it
working on my Powerbook running OSX 10.5.

Do you have the original CDs by any chance? You may like to try
installing from the original CDs to see if it happens there, too.

The installers expect that the volume names to the CDs haven't changed.
And as Fred has pointed out in response to your post, using disk
images can be problematic, since disk images are not automatically
mounted across reboots (unless you make special arrangements to do so).

Seeing that Fred has got his installation working, I have nothing
further to add to this.

You must Install VPC7.0 on OSX 10.4 and after install copy it on a Back up Disk. Install OS10.5 and Copy VPC7.0 from Backup Disk to OSX 10.5 Dokuments. Start Install VPC 7.0 and after Install start Virtuell Disk from Install on 10.4. VPC7.0 work on 10.5
