Brand new to the wonderful world of Macs, I still need Windows in some shape
or form as there's one program left on my PDA that I can't live without and
there's no Mac version so, I want to use Bootcamp to install Windows. As I'm
sure this won't be a long term thing I'm wondering how difficult it is in
the Mac world to remove this partition once I no longer have a need for
Windows?

Thanks,
Tim

This group here is for Virtual PC for Macs with PPC CPUs. BootCamp is for
Intel based machines only. If you have an Intel Mac then you are in the
wrong place.

Windows 7 will run on Virtual PC 7 but it is too slow to be useful for day
to day work. Windows 98, 2000, and XP under Virtual PC work the best.
Vista will run but like Windows 7 it is too slow to be useful day to day.

If you use Bootcamp to install Windows, you can also use Bootcamp to remove
the Windows partition. Works pretty smoothly.

That is correct that BootCamp removes the Windows partition without issue.
