Where can I download Virtual PC for the Macintosh?

We occassionally have customers who want to run our Windows software on their
Mac.

I hate to tell anyone "no" so we provide info on options like CrossLoop
(lets you run Windows apps on the Mac) or Virtual PC (+Windows) for the Mac.

I can't find a downloadable version of VPC for the Mac. (I know the latest
VPC 2007 doesn't support the Mac, right)? or is it just not for the
Intel-based Mac?

Nowhere, VPC for Mac isn't a free product.

VPC 2007 is for Windows only.

If you want a lot of pain you can use QEMU or Bochs for free but they are
slow compared to VPC and not very user friendly. This would be your only
free options for a PPC Mac user. They do work but it requires work on your
part.

If you have an Intel Mac you can download for free Virtual Box from Sun.
That works very good and is comparable to VPC in user interface.

Parallels.com has a virtualizer for the mac for $80 Also VMWare.com. I read
an article online from one of the computer mags (sorry I can't remember which
one) but anyway they compared the 2 and leaned toward parallels but they
admitted that vmware was very close second and really a tossup depending on
which features/functionality you preferred. both performed the same for the
tests run.
