I have a Dell Inspiron laptop, using Vista Ultimate currently. I have the
AMD Core II Duo 64 bit processor. So I can use either the x32 or the x64
Vista OS. I have tried both and then have also downloaded both versions of
the Virtual PC 2007. The installation of VPC 2007 goes just fine. But when
I try to install the guest OS, which is 32bit using the CD option and
capturing the ISO file it starts to run the setup usually and then quickly
completely reboots my host computer. Upon back up to my desktop of course
VPC 2007 is not running. It does this over and over again and I am at a
loss. I have tried several ISOs that I have on a hdd and have tried both 32
and 64bit software of both the OS and the VPC 2007. Still the same thing.
Anyone with ideas, please help !! thanks
Oh and also, please explain to me what the Addins to VPC that you can
install are for and will they make things run faster or smother. ??
