can't read Windows or Office 2003 DVD from guest PC

I can not read an Office 2003 or Windows 2003 DVD from my guest PC. When I
click on E: (the DVD drive,) it pops up a message saying I need to load a
disk into the drive, even though the disk is already loaded. If I put in a
different DVD or CD, it works fine. I thought the DVD might be bad, but I
can open it fine from the host system.

My version of virtual PC, if I go to Help - About is 6.0.192.0. The host PC
is running Windows XP.

The last working release of Virtual PC for Macintosh is 7.0.3. You'll
have to buy that from some 3rd party as Microsoft no longer sells or
supports it. You can purchase it standalone or with XP Home or with XP
Professional. Note that there are problems running it on MacOS X 10.5.

Well, you posted to the Virtual PC for Macintosh group, so quietly
excuse yourself as you exit through the back. You want the 2nd door on
the left.

You're excused Sondra, a common mistake.
You are fortunate though, MS provides Virtual PC 2007 for Windows free
for the downloading. I notice it requires WinXP Pro.
