Virtual PC 'New Virtual PC Wizard' not appearing
(too old to reply)

When I start up my VPC 2007 Console, the 'New' button creates a new running
program, visible in the taskbar, called the 'New Virtual Machine Wizard'.
However, there is no popup window that appears for the wizard.
Right-clicking or left-clicking the taskbar icon does absolutely nothing.

From Task Manager, there is a task for the New Virtual Machine Wizard.
However, nothing happens if I either specify 'Bring to Front' or 'Switch To'.

I'm running Vista Business SP1. VPC version is 6.0.156.0.

VPC has been installed on my PC for about 8 months, and has been working
just fine. Existing VPCs in the list startup just fine. I can also remove
VPCs from the list. It's only the 'New' button that is failing.

I have deinstalled and reinstalled. No love.

Ideas?

Well, you won't get many here.

Why? 'Cause this is the VPC for Macintosh group.

Well, although that wasn't very helpful, it WAS funny. (John Cleese fan.)

In fact, the problem was that I had switched to my large external monitor,
and the New VPC Wizard window was opened way off to the right and below the
visible screen. Problem solved.
