Hello,
I had to get a new desktop and it came with Win Vista Home Premium 64 bit. I
tried installing my copy of Virtual pc 2004 and a prompt came up saying there
were compatability issues with VPC on my os. The MS website didn't seem to
offer any resolutions. So I tried downloading the free copyof VPC 2007-even
though it doesn't list my version of Vista as supported- for 64 bit and while
it seemed like it was installing nothing happened.
Does anyone know how
1. I can get VPC 2004 working on my system.
2. or how I can get VPC 2007 working on my Vista version?
Or if there are any way to get some version of VPC working on my system.
Thanks, God bless
Van

Well, I would expect you to have problems. Especially since you can't
seem to fathom the difference between the VPC for Windows and the VPC
for Macinosh news groups.

Hint: VPC for windows is the 2nd door down the hall on your left

Another hint: Why are you even _bothering_ doing anything with Vista?
You must like pain.

I couldn't find the newsgroup for VPC so did a search. This one came up and
it didn't say it was for Mac in the title. Have a good day.

Well the answer to his problem was that VPC2004 is 32 bit and you need to be
sure you download the 64bit version for it to work with your version of
Vista.
